Your contribution at work
OAF’s commitment of 500 outdoor monitors is the starting point for the Fall 2026 round. Your support helps cover the journey to each community, the work to get monitors running, and the local action that follows.
Help move OAF’s committed outdoor monitors through shipping, customs, and the final miles to the communities that will use them.
Help local teams coordinate host sites, install their monitors, and get a community monitoring network up and running.
Help communities share what their monitors reveal, bring neighbours together, and use the evidence to make a stronger case for cleaner air.
OAF covers payment processing and campaign administration from separate funds.
Earlier community work
These projects, previously supported by AirGradient, show what communities can achieve with monitoring equipment and local support. Help the next groups get their monitors installed, share the findings, and turn air quality data into action.

Thailand
Students track seasonal smoke, learn to interpret the data, and share findings with nearby villagers.

Honduras
Young people combine local monitoring with workshops to help residents understand air pollution and take action.

Ecuador
Families make air quality information available around schools, parks, and other places children spend time.
A transparent platform in development
We’re building a fully transparent platform where you can see exactly where your donation goes, which projects it supports, and the air quality data from those communities.
OAF selects community groups and allocates funds according to their needs, helping them receive and install the committed monitors and use the findings locally. If you opt in when donating, we’ll email you after funds have been distributed to tell you which groups your contribution supported.

Public recognition is optional. Anonymous donations still count toward the total.
